  • Job Purpose: The Director of Finance for Primary Care will report directly to the Vice President of Primary Care Operations (with a dotted line to the Chief Financial Officer), and will be responsible for all financial management activities related to the Primary Service line employed by CHA. These activities generally will include multi-year financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, charge capture, revenue reconciliation, Charge Description Master (COM) maintenance, strategic pricing, financial reporting, analytics, and strategic business development planning. In addition, this position will have an integrated and collaborative relationship with the CHA Finance leaders and managers overseeing professional billing and physician compensation, for defining and implementing the strategy for maximizing a competitive cost structure and gross revenue capture, and ensuring the availability and interpretation of reporting and analytics necessary to drive financial and operational improvement. 

    Education/Training: Master's Degree (MBA, MHA) preferred. A Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience in lieu of a Master's is acceptable.
    Work Experience: 7-10 years of experience with physician finance and reporting. In-depth knowledge of billing compliance benchmarks, charge capture, revenue process and analytics. Familiarity with managed care and physician reimbursement models. Experience with GE Centricity billing system. Knowledge of healthcare finance and healthcare operations highly desirable.
