Family Medicine with OB Core Faculty Position

Tufts University Family Medicine Residency Program at Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is recruiting a Family Medicine physician to be a core faculty member and Director of Obstetrics Education. Our clinic is in Malden, MA; a vibrant and diverse community just 5 miles north of downtown Boston.

We are a premiere 8-8-8 residency program in an NCQA level 3 patient centered medical home. We have a focus on health equity and primary care transformation fueled by our "All Teach, All Learn" culture. Near universal coverage in Massachusetts and payment reform has propelled us to the bleeding edge of healthcare reform in the United States. We've developed models that include a complex care team, robust integrated mental health and addiction services, care partners, integrated clinical pharmacy and much more. We were one of fourteen demonstration sites for the national P4 initiative. Our faculty-resident practice is housed in a new state-of-the-art facility with 42 exam rooms and 3 specialized treatment rooms.

Cambridge Health Alliance is an award-winning, academic public healthcare system that receives national recognition for innovation and community excellence. We are recognized leaders across the globe in our ongoing development of the patient-centered medical home. Our residents are the only residents assigned to our L&D floor and we work in collaboration with midwives and obstetricians where we boast the lowest c-section rate in Massachusetts.

Ideal candidate will be full time, Board Certified and trained/experienced in management and delivery of obstetric patients. This faculty position will help grow our group visit model to re-launch prenatal group visits and develop our service line for pregnant patients with opiate addiction.

Our practice serves an ethnically and socio-economically diverse patient population. We offer a very competitive salary, excellent benefits and a low-burden call schedule. Faculty appointments at Tufts and Harvard are available.

We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
