  • Collect, analyzes, and manages data Alliance wide for assigned quality improvement initiatives. Abstracts quality measures for Ambulatory and inpatient. Collaborates with Quality Management leadership, Ambulatory Leadership, and other stakeholders to collect and interpret quality data. Manages data collection projects and improves processes aligned with the organizational priorities. Summarizes evidence-based practices related to research and benchmarking as pertinent to quality and performance initiatives. Determines best practices for planning and implementing quality and performance improvement initiatives related to contractual and organizational priorities. Liaison to IT department regarding clinical reporting and optimization of the electronic medical record relating to quality data collection and improvement. Maintains an effective tracking system of records and reports to facilitate timely and accurate data gathering according to hospital, team, and departmental needs. Identifies trends and patterns and recommends opportunities for improvement. Prepares and presents outcomes information to appropriate forums. Establishes an assignment plan inclusive of time management for meetings, education and project work. Performs all steps of focused reviews and completes work in a timely manner. Tool development, data collection, data analysis and benchmark, presentation of results, follow up. Participates in departmental in-services, staff meetings, relevant educational programs.

    Qualifications 

    • 3-5 years ambulatory experience. • Computer skills required, including proficiency in spreadsheets/databases and electronic medical records, experience with EPIC preferred. • Excellent written skills. • Knowledge of HEDIS, NQF, and Pay for Performance initiatives. • Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of staff and departments. • Demonstrated ability and effective organizational skills to implement, coordinate and oversee projects • Strong attention to detail • Excellent written and oral communication and behavioral skills. • Ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities while under pressure. • Ability to collect and interpret clinical information • Bachelor's degree.
