This is a compelling opportunity for an exceptional health care executive to lead a system known for its enduring commitment to the mission of health equity, its innovations driven by affiliations with Harvard University and Tufts University, and for the quality of its award-winning integrated primary and behavioral health care. CHA is a public, socially accountable health system. The system operates two hospitals with 351 licensed beds, a major ambulatory center with emergency services, twelve clinics, and six other centers, providing care to more than 140,000 patients in Cambridge, Somerville, and the Boston metro-North region. The system generated more than $680 million last fiscal year. CHA employs more than 3,500 staff, including 423 active medical providers, to care for a patient population including the highest concentration of Medicaid and uninsured patients in Massachusetts. Approximately half of all CHA patients are members of an accountable care organization, incentivizing CHA’s ongoing investments in delivering high quality value-based care. The system provides primary care, behavioral health, maternity, emergency care, and limited specialty and surgery care to its patients. Clinical affiliations with Beth Israel Lahey Health and MassGeneral Hospital for Children provide access to more complex care.
