Our Radiology physicians and Radiologic technologists provide expert imaging services at all three CHA hospitals and several community locations. Our role is to help maintain and restore the health of patients by providing diagnostic tools and therapeutic intervention when appropriate. We are proud to be a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, and have earned national ACR accreditation in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Breast Ultrasound, and Breast Biopsy services.
Performs a wide range of routine and emergent CT and diagnostic radiology procedures. Must be capable of working independently, unsupervised in a fast paced setting. Must possess a wide range of technical knowledge. Must be able to make advanced clinical imaging decisions. Must possess good communication skills and meet service excellence standards. Will be responsible for CT and Diagnostic Radiology imaging exams and responsibilities. Ability to constantly lift objects heavier than 10 pounds Ability to move patients from stretchers, wheelchairs, etc. to radiology tables and back Ability to enter data in a computer Repetitive motions for wrist and arms, bending stooping and turning Auditory acuity to hear telephone or voices in a noisy environment Ability to work in a demanding, busy and stressful environment Ability to respond appropriately to urgent patient care needs Ability to respond appropriately to urgent patient care needs This position reports to CT Network Manager and indirectly to the DR Network Manager.
This is a network position and may require assignments at multiple locations.
Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program Current Massachusetts state license Current certification by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) Certification in CT imaging modality preferred. Must be certified in CT within one year of employment if not currently certified. Current Heart Saver or BLS certification. Three to five years of broad technical experience in both Diagnostic Radiology and CT preferred.
