Under the general supervision of dietitian accurately provides patients with appropriate trays at mealtimes and as requested.
?Accurately setup, deliver and retrieve trays for patients at mealtimes Empty patients' trays in dish room ?Stock kitchenettes, rotate food supplies and check codes of supplies. ?Record calls for late trays in telephone logs. ?Performs duties of dishwasher as needed (see dishwasher position description). ?Understands and practices hospital/departmental safety guidelines and procedures including general safety, office safety, fire safety, proper body mechanics and proper patient/material handling ?Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.
Work Experience: 1 year's related experience preferred Physical Skills: Average agility and long periods of walking, standing, bending, carrying, or pushing moderately heavy items ( i.e food carts) Mental Skills: Must be fluent in the English language in a manner that promotes effective written and verbal communication skills.
