CHA is a primary teaching site for Harvard Medical School (HMS). Our system serves a culturally and ethnically diverse population; more than half of our patients (56%) identify as non-white and one quarter (25%) speak a primary language other than English.

Our child and adolescent psychiatry division serves children and adolescents with complex psychiatric and developmental conditions. Experience with assessing cognitive and socio-emotional functioning associated with severe mental illness, neurodevelopment, and neurological/medical complications from early childhood to early adulthood in culturally diverse community health settings is preferred. Duties include completing neuropsychological assessments, patient and family education, consultation with colleagues in other medical, neurological and mental health specialities. In addition, our division combines advanced clinical care with academic engagement. The psychology division has a robust and vibrant training program that includes psychology practicum students, interns and postdoctoral fellows. The position includes teaching and supervising psychology interns and postdoctoral fellows and the faculty member holds an appointment at HMS. Faculty are encouraged to engage in clinical research that is relevant to our community-oriented mission. We are seeking both early-career and mid-career applicants to provide a supportive and vibrant team experience. This service will benefit from the support and collaboration of an established neuropsychology team in adult psychiatry.
