Job Purpose: Perform a variety of MRI exams in accordance with accepted standards of practice, including administering contrast agents. Manage department workflow to ensure safe and timely care of all patients. Adhere to TJC, ACR and departmental standards. Review and complete patient screening forms and properly explain procedure to patient. Provide patients with reassurance to assure patient cooperation required for quality exams. Provide Complete RIS and PACS documentation for patient care. Interact professionally with a diverse stream of patients, family and other staff at all times.
Qualifications/Requirements: Maintain appropriate CEUs for continued registry by ARRT. Registered or registry eligible. If registry eligible, much be registered in MRI within 12 months of hire. Primary or secondary certification by the ARRT in MRI. AHA BLS certification required. Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology. Experience with Siemens, Epic and McKesson PACS strongly preferred.
This is a network position and may require assignments at multiple locations.
This position is every other Saturday and Sunday with an option to cover weekday shifts. There is no call requirement
