CHA PACE is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) at Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA). CHA PACE serves adults 55 years and older with chronic medical and/or mental health difficulties with the goals of achieving the highest level of community independence and preventing nursing home placement. CHA PACE's high functioning interdisciplinary team works to fully integrate and coordinate medical and behavioral health care, community resources, and in-home support services.
The PACE Nurse Manager will assume responsibility for the overall PACE clinic practice in collaboration with the PACE Director of Operations and PACE Director of Nursing of a growing and dynamic program.
Provides the practice with daily clinical and administrative support for delivery of service.
Serves as the day to day manager, dealing with patient flow, staff and provider scheduling, support, and issues arising from daily practice.
Oversees telephone and registration systems.
Supervises administrative staff to ensure optimal access for participants.
Is accountable for clinical operations and the quality of clinical care.
Is responsible to encourage innovation, and initiate and lead quality improvement projects.
Is accountable for compliance with CMS requirements.
The successful candidate for this role will be a dynamic individual possessing the ability to deal with daily clinical and management challenges and have a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with staff, peers, supervisors, participants and families. The Nurse Manager demonstrates a commitment to and works within the Mission and Vision statement of the Cambridge Health Alliance.
BSN required, Master's Degree in Nursing or Health Care Related Field highly desired.
RN Licensure required
Five years of management experience in a health care setting highly desired.
Experience working in PACE highly desirable.
