The Department of Psychiatry at Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), a primary affiliate of Harvard Medical School (HMS), is seeking a Full-time or Part-time doctoral level (Ph.D) Psychologist to join our Adult Outpatient Psychiatry service as a Clinical Leader for Trauma Treatment. We are searching for an energetic candidate who is interested in contributing to a department that is dedicated to the development and implementation of cutting-edge evidenced-based practices in population-based behavioral health. We are specifically interested in recruiting and retaining a candidate with interest, expertise and competency in current trauma-informed care and a candidate who is dedicated to integrating this perspective into clinical interventions for trauma using empirically-supported care models such as Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, EMDR and DBT. This position will have dedicated time for training as well as clinical responsibilities.

The Harvard-affiliated CHA Department of Psychiatry is recognized as a leader in patient care, teaching and research. As a leader in behavioral health for more than 20 years, CHA's psychiatry teams provide compassionate care to our diverse patient population. Our system is comprised of three Hospital campuses and an integrated network of both primary and specialty outpatient care practices in Cambridge, Somerville and Boston’s Metro North Region, with a fully integrated medical record system (EPIC).

Full-time or Part-time opportunities in our Adult Outpatient Psychiatry Department offer an unparalleled opportunity to work in an integrated team-based model with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, clinical social workers and psychologists dedicated to appreciating cultural, linguistic, racial and socio-economic challenges that impact behavioral health issues. We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy and pregnancy-related conditions or any other characteristic protected by law.

The position carries a Harvard Medical School appointment of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor, available commensurate with HMS criteria, candidate qualifications, and commitment to teaching responsibilities.

CHA offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package including health and dental insurance, 403b retirement accounts with matching, generous PTO, CME allotment (time and dollars) and much more.

Qualified candidates may submit their CV through our website at www.CHAproviders.org, or by email to Melissa Kelley at ProviderRecruitment@challiance.org. The Department of Provider Recruitment may be reached by phone at (617) 665-3555.
