  • Job Duties:

    Verifies insurance benefits, determines and accepts required payments, including co-pays and deductibles, or refers to financial counselors for follow up. Ensures that all necessary demographic, billing, and clinical information is obtained and entered in the registration system with timeliness and accuracy. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

    ** Must be able to attend Epic training in Malden within the first four weeks** ** Must be able to train on day shift at least 2 days a week for 8 weeks**


    High School diploma or GED required. 2-3 years related work experience required. Solid computing skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, working knowledge of EPIC EMR system is a must. strong oral and written communications skills are essential.
