Job Details

  • The main purpose of the Patient Access Representative II is to provide quality patient care according to Cambridge Health Alliance and the Association of perioperative Registered Nurses standards of nursing practice and the PAR II role expectations. The role of the PAR II includes but is not limited to EKG, blood draws, vital signs, stretcher/bed preparation, patient transport, chart preparation, maintenance of a clean perioperative environment, POC testing, answering phones and other duties as appropriate. Clinical leadership at Cambridge Health Alliance is manifested by personal commitment, accountability, and initiative in clinical practice. Patients are our priority. The PAR II assists patients to reach their health care goals.

    High School Diploma or GED required
    Certified Nursing Assistant, certified EMT, Medical Assistant certificate or Nursing Student upon completion of one clinical rotation.
    Certifications: American Heart Association BLS required
    Work Experience: 1 year current experience in an acute healthcare environment required to include EKG, blood draws, vital signs, Point of Care testing, and computer documentation.
