The Patient Access Representative II provides clerical and clinical support services to department providers allowing for effective patient care. Explains site routines and clinical procedures to patients.This position will provide both clerical and clinical support in an urgent care setting, allowing for effective patient care. Under the supervision and direction of the Registered Nurse, patient care responsibilities will include but are not limited to: preparing patients for well and sick visits according to protocol, performing hearing and vision tests, specimen collection and transporting as needed, height, weight, vitals and other point of care testing per protocol as well as assisting providers as needed.
High School Diploma or GED
Medical or Nursing Assistant certification
American Heart Association BLS certification required
Previous experience working in an outpatient health care facility
External candidates must take and pass a specific job agility exam with Occupational Health
