  • The Provider Recruitment Department supports CHA's strategic growth initiative by working closely with both senior clinical and administrative leadership to identify, recruit and employ only the highest quality physicians and physician assistants.

    The department works with internal and external customers to ensure a smooth and effective recruitment process.

    Job Duties:

    Identify essential tasks and appropriate contacts within departments involved in the onboarding of CHA providers including provider recruitment, medical staff services, practice/service line management, benefits, occupational health and additional HR services.

    Establish highly effective working relationships with internal customers, physician leaders and all onboard stakeholder departments to skillfully coordinate onboard activities. Exhibit a welcoming, customer service focused attitude in all interactions with CHA internal and external clients.

    Serve as an expert on global onboarding policies and procedures for newly hired CHAPO providers, division staff, department staff, and other CHA contacts. Collaborate with managers to ensure onboarding resources are updated including forms, websites, onboarding resources, and other department material.

    Serve as a liaison and build relationships with newly hired CHAPO providers during the onboarding process that includes familiarizing incoming provider with CHA at an organizational level, CHAPO benefits, internal contacts and resources.

    Perform periodic "check ins" with providers throughout their onboarding process
    Solicit feedback/survey responses from providers periodically post hire in order to share concerns with leadership.

    Consistent communication with department contacts to clearly communicate the status within overall onboarding process, hurdles or concerns around timeline, potential start date adjustments, etc.

    Assist the new physician/advanced clinical provider with the details of relocation including connecting the physician with relocation resources and contacts. Proactively identify opportunities for their family to become established and engaged in the community.

    Seek out new ideas and best practices in physician onboarding and incorporates them into the organization's onboarding efforts. Involvement and assistance in the coordination of various tasks.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in healthcare.

    Minimum 3 years' professional experience in a healthcare setting with working knowledge of onboarding, recruitment, provider credentialing/enrollment or other HR services/departments a plus.

    Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service and effective interaction with diverse organizational levels.

    Ability to manage several processes and tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.

    Ability to problem-solve and respond immediately to mitigate time sensitive issues that occurs.

    Self-motivated with an interest in learning and applying skills/knowledge to advance.
