Department Description:

The Everett Hospital Float Pool provides care with an emphasis on culturally sensitive, evidence based nursing practice. While regularly scheduled, the members of the float pool are deployed on a shift by shift to provide nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical/Telemetry, ICU and Geriatric Psychiatry units at Everett Hospital.

Job Responsibilities:

The role of a Registered Nurse (RN) is to comply with CHA Service Standards for welcoming patients. The qualified applicant will provide quality care to our patients in an inpatient medical/surgical/telemetry unit. In this fast-paced environment, you will assess, plan, implement, and document patient care as well as communicate with patients, families and other health team members effectively. Implementing core measures as indicated. The RN reports directly to a designated nurse manager, clinical manager or off shift manager. Applicants should possess excellent communication, assessment, documentation and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize as well as a commitment to work with a culturally diverse population. 

Qualifications/Experience:

BSN Preferred 

Current MA RN Licensure

Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required. 

Proficiency in telemetry and ability to independently interpret telemetry strips preferred. 

Minimum of 2 years current med/surg nursing experience preferred.

Will be required to take and pass a physical agility exam.


$10k Sign-On Bonus (prorated for part time employees) for newly hired experienced RNs with 2 years of experience in the specialty hired for.
