  • Under direction of, and in collaboration with the Senior Director of Finance and Primary Care Improvement, the Senior Financial and Contract Metrics Analyst, is responsible for providing a range of financial support services to the administrative and operating leadership of Primary Care. Those services will include among other things, financial analysis and cost management, utilization, charge capture and revenue, development of the annual budget, and variance analysis in Primary Care. Additional routine functions include researching and preparing reports on budgetary, operational, financial and statistical trends as they relate to Primary Care and risk contract performance. Essential functions will also include analyzing and validating financial and risk contract performance data, financial and statistical forecasting, and direct interaction with various staff and medical and administrative leaders. The position will be a key financial point of contact in Primary Care for a variety of CHA departments including Quality, Finance, IT and the Accountable Care Organization. The position will also work in conjunction with the Primary Care leaders, staff and providers on special projects, strategic planning, and development/analysis of new programs and initiatives.

    The position requires an advanced level of expertise with spreadsheets and complex databases. Work involves a high degree of individual initiative, independent judgment, ability to work with people across several functions, and excellent communication skills. Bachelor degree required in finance or healthcare related field. Holding or pursuing a Master's Degree in finance or healthcare related field is preferred.
