Job Summary: 

The Director of Networking and Telecom will be responsible for the strategic planning, development, and operation of the organization's network and telecommunications infrastructure. This role requires a strong leader with extensive technical expertise and a proven track record of managing complex networking environments. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of all network and telecom systems, supporting the overall business objectives.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive network and telecommunications strategy aligned with the company's long-term goals.

  • Oversee the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of all network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

  • Manage and optimize the organization's telecommunications systems, including VoIP, unified communications, and contact center technologies.

  • Lead and mentor a team of network and telecom engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

  • Ensure the security of network infrastructure through the implementation of robust security protocols, access controls, and regular vulnerability assessments.

  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts for network and telecom services and equipment.

  • Develop and manage the departmental budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation.

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for network and telecom systems, providing regular reports to senior management.

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to recommend and implement innovative solutions.

  • Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning for network and telecom services.

Qualifications:
