Summary
Contribute to ICH's success by leading development of research strategy, promotes leading-edge participatory research, and oversees ICH research quality. The Assistant Director of Research will be responsible for leading, communicating, and training staff on all aspects of participatory research and evaluation methods. They will be responsible for quality and rigor in participatory approaches, and will be responsible for ICH's thought leadership in this area. 
Other Information
  • Advanced degree - M.D. or PhD preferred, preferably in public health/epidemiology, statistics, public policy, or related field
  • At least 5-7 years of progressively more responsible experience managing research work, with extensive experience developing research plans
  • and instruments, collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, and writing reports
  • Strong knowledge of quantitative research methods, mixed methods approaches, and causal inference
  • At least 3 years of management experience including budget, operational, and supervisory responsibility
  • A track record of success generating grant and contract revenue. Experience supervising staff and managing project teams
  • Experience working with community organizations, and ability to develop strong relationships with community partners
