Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (36 hours/week)
Requisition Number: CHAP-2479-7
- 0.9FTE; 11:30pm-8am weekdays, with every other weekend 8pm-8:30am. MNA Somerville Union
- Perform admissions to the child, adolescent, and neurodevelopmental units, including physical examinations.
- Perform clinical assessments and evaluations.
- Plan, implement and revise treatment in consultation with multidisciplinary teams and with community agencies as appropriate.
- Completes patient chart documentation as required by all pertinent governing bodies in a timely manner.
- Demonstrates ability to manage emergency situations in a prompt, precise and professional manner.
- Demonstrates expertise in nonviolent crisis prevention and management.
- All responsibilities will be consistent with the scope of practice acts governing health care in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Maintains current Basic Life Support “C” Certification. Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing by the American Nursing Association
- Salary range is $61-$111/hour based on years of experience
