Vascular Surgeon Opportunity (part-time)

Cambridge Health Alliance is recruiting a part-time Vascular Surgeon to join our award-winning public healthcare system in Boston’s metro north communities.  CHA provides innovative primary, specialty and emergency care to our diverse patient population through an established network of outpatient clinics and two full service hospitals.The position:
  • Part-time vascular surgeon opportunity in Cambridge, Massachusetts
  • 0.5 FTE which includes 16 hours of patient care per week plus 4 hours of asynchronous clinical admin time
  • Call is approximately 1:3
  • Provide exceptional outpatient care to our adult population
  • EPIC electronic medical record
  • Teach medical students and residents. CHA is a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School (HMS).  Position carries a HMS appointment of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate with HMS appointment criteria, candidate qualifications and commitment to teaching responsibilities

Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of an accredited residency program 
  • Board certification in Vascular Surgery
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills
  • Team player and approachable
  • Demonstrated commitment to serving CHA’s socioeconomically and culturally diverse patient population
  • Experience in an academic safety net system is a plus
