We are a mission-driven organization passionate about serving our ethnically and socio-economically diverse patient population in Cambridge, Somerville and Boston’s metro North CHA is currently recruiting a full time Urologist to provide comprehensive urologic care serving patients of all ages, addressing conditions such as kidney stones, urinary incontinence, prostate cancer and bladder cancer (general, endo, female and oncology).Position Overview:
  • Collaborative practice environment with a built-in referral network of over 300 primary care physicians within CHA’s Physician Organization and an innovative clinical model with over 10,000 urology clinic visits annually
  • A growing multidisciplinary team including 3 Urologists and 3+ Advanced Practice Clinicians.
  • Excellent support staff and dedicated practice management systems in place that allows you to practice at the top of your license
  • Strong commitment to Quality Improvement program with participation in American College of Surgeons NSAQIP and COC accreditation. Multidisciplinary tumor board and cancer program in place
  • State-of-the-art technology including da Vinci DV5 and Xi Robotic Surgical Systems with reliable first assistance by robotically trained surgical PAs. Various laser and MIS techniques and transperineal biopsy
  • Outpatient surgical procedure unit available
  • Access to interventional radiology and state-of-the-art radiologic imaging
  • Multiple locations in Cambridge, Somerville and Everett, making it convenient for patients and providing a broad reach for urologists
  • State of the art Epic EMR system
  • This position carries an Harvard Medical School appointment of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate with HMS appointment criteria, candidate qualifications and commitment to teaching responsibilities
Qualifications:
  • BC/BE in Urology
  • Must possess an active, unrestricted Massachusetts medical license (or be eligible to obtain one prior to start date)
  • Active DEA License
  • 3-5 years of experience actively practicing Urology preferred
  • Passionate for treating our underserved and culturally diverse patient population
  • Fluency in EMR systems & technology
CHA offers a comprehensive benefits package including health and dental insurance, 403b retirement accounts with employer match, generous Paid Time Off (PTO), and a CME allotment (both time and dollars). The full time guaranteed base salary is $446,000 - 521,000.
