Summary:
We are seeking full-time, licensed Clinical Social Workers to join Outpatient Psychiatry in our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Integration Program. The department is composed of multidisciplinary teams dedicated to the delivery of the best possible care to our diverse client population. We are seeking candidates with strong diagnostic and short-term psychotherapy skills, with expertise in empirically-supported treatments such as DBT, CBT, Behavioral Activation, trauma-informed care, and Motivational Interviewing. Clinical Social Workers within the Outpatient Department of Psychiatry are vital members of our multidisciplinary treatment teams. The diversity of the client population served, in addition to the treatment modalities utilized, requires interdisciplinary expertise and collaboration. As a teaching hospital, members of our clinical teams will have an opportunity to teach and supervise trainees, and participate in developing best models of care to treat our patient population. This position will be located in the CHA Child Outpatient Psychiatry Department and is focused on brief, skill-oriented, evidence-based interventions with children, adolescents, and/or their parents/caregivers to address a variety of behavioral health needs. This position will work directly with Primary Care teams in an integrated care model. 

Qualifications:
  • MSW 
  • Current MA licensure as an LCSW or LICSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) 
  • A minimum of 1 year post degree experience, or equivalent, in a fast-paced clinical environment; along with basic computer skills in electronic or online systems for communication, clinical, and administrative tasks.
  • Portuguese, Spanish, or Haitian Kreyol linguistic skill preferred.
